The Beauty of Catalina Island
I am lucky enough to have lived on Catalina Island, off the coast of Southern California, for almost eight years. The beauty of Catalina inspires me to create handmade Catalina tile jewelry & artwork. I designed this series of jewelry for lovers of Spanish and Mexican tile work. I am surrounded by it where I live and always admire how Catalina Tiles add such color and texture to a simple walk to the market.
Creating art has always been my passion. I graduated from the Maryland Institute, College of Art in 1996 with a BFA in Painting. Since then, I have explored many other media, including watercolor, textiles, sewing, jewelry and more.
