Neuropathic Pain

This page is dedicated to spreading awareness about ME (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis - the new name for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), Fibromyalgia and other un-named autoimmune diseases that have no cure and many times, no effective treatment.  So many people (mostly women) are suffering from these seemingly invisible illnesses.  Many are no longer able to work or take care of their children and they are enduring lives that are mere shells of what they once were.

I have done much research and reading on these subjects and while I do not consider myself an expert by any degree, I have learned a lot and found many useful resources that I want to share.  I'm hoping to start a forum on this subject soon where sources and information can be exchanged.  If you have any experience with these diseases, you know that information is sparse, contradictory, very controversial and often outdated.  I have found myself, on several occasions, delving hopefully into theories about treatments, only to realize later that the articles I'd been reading were two years old and the theories had been completely dis-proven by that point.

This page is a "work in progress" so check back frequently for updates and new information.  Also, please feel free to email me if you have any suggestions of things you think should be covered.
